Voodoo Black Exorcist

Voodoo Black ExorcistOn a south-sea's island, two white guys and a gal (all painted boot-polish black) have a fight when the gal canoodles with the wrong beach dude. After one of the men dies, a ritual erupts and the gal has her rubber head chopped off during the frantic voodoo ceremony and her lover is stabbed, killed and locked up in a fancy coffin.

Hundreds of years later, the coffin winds up on a cruise ship full of rich, awkward fools who are quick to dismiss magic, fate, destiny and love; little knowing the on-board coffin-filler dead guy is prepping to pop out of the ancient box just like The Mummy! And, like the Mummy, he's horny fer the female reincarnation of his vintage bride. Yaay!, look at him go, killing anyone in his path with his poison ring and frequently transforming into the human guise of Aldo Sambrel as he hunts for his past-life Lolita—now reborn as pale sex-bomb Tanyeka Stadler. Filmed in Haiti, Madrid and Jamaica, this is yet another full-on Spanish horror opus from the delirious, dark brain of Cano; the talent behind the sublime and still whacky The Swamp Of The Ravens (73).

Although hardly amazing or super great, this has flecks of gore n great scenes wrapped in fab buzz-bomb guitar music which gos a long way to makin' me lurve it a lot. Who wouldn't dig the boat-load of bikini clad femmes or love-lorn monster that simply looks like a guy in a tux with shit smeared all over his face. Keep watch fer the bouncing heads! AKA: Vudu Sangriento.
